A huge thank you to Lupo Lounge who opened up in April this year on Dudley Street for choosing the Alternative Giving CIO as their chosen charity. During the first months trading, they donated a proportion of their sales and raised over £400! in the photo from left to right Lucy Armstrong Wolverhampton BID, Sally Perkins City Ambassador & Kirstie General Manager for Lupo Lounge.

Lupo Lounge on Dudley Street is the latest must-visit venue for enjoying time with friends and family. A home from home, offering delicious food and drinks, all day, on your doorstep. They bring people together and the unique atmosphere changes hour by hour with each new wave of customers. Their aim is simple: every customer leaves happy. If you’d like to have a closer look at our food and drinks range, see the menus – they even have our very own gluten-free and vegan menu. Entertainment is always on hand too… board games for big and small guests, toys for the really wee ones, and even refreshments for our canine guests. Old or young, big or small – just pop along and they’ll look after you!

What is the Alternative Giving Campaign?

Alternative Giving Campaign creates a positive support structure in Wolverhampton. They support charities and organisations that exist in Wolverhampton that support the vulnerable community accessed by Wolverhampton street homeless. They work with organisations and charities that help Street Homeless and vulnerable people who access services in Wolverhampton. They support those organisations that work with the homeless and vulnerable to improve their current circumstances by offering them accommodation, assistance and advice. Alternative Giving Campaign want to help people on the streets who have complex needs and struggle to access services – by directing them to benefits, housing, alcohol and substance abuse services or mental health support. The Alternative Giving Charity helps support rough sleepers in the city to secure the right accommodation at the right time, also working with the vulnerable and homeless people that we work with every day in Wolverhampton who are part of our community.
